Dave Cesario — You Will Be Missed

The reverse mortgage industry has lost a great advocate for the product, but more importantly a great friend to many people — including the team here at RMD.

Dave Cesario, 49, passed away on Tuesday at his home surrounded by his family after battling cancer.

Over the years he made his way to the reverse mortgage business and served as the VP of 1st Reverse Financial Services, Regional Sales Director at MetLife, and most recently as the national sales manager for MSI Reverse.

I was fortunate enough to have Dave join me about a month ago at a Cubs game in Chicago, where he proudly wore his White Sox gear and hat with a huge grin, making no mistake his distaste for the “lovable losers” on the North Side. If you knew Dave this wouldn’t have surprised you, if not, I hope it provides a little insight into his great sense of humor and the friend he was to so many people.

Always one to bend over backwards and do what he could to support the people around him, I’ve been lucky enough to not only call Dave a client for as long as RMD has been around, but a friend. We will miss you, Dave.
